A 50-year-old woman died after slipping into a river in Kalaroos area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district this morning, official sources said.
They told that one Begum Jan slipped into the river at Nagsari Kalaroos and was swept away by the heavy flow of water. “The body was retrieved by Police and locals at Khumriyal village which is several kilometres away from the incident site”, they said.
Meanwhile a police official has also confirmed to GNS about the incident. (GNS)
