Srinagar, Oct 13: 10 Bn Sashastra Seem Bal Batmaloo, Srinagar (J&K) on Friday organised an OPD medical camp at Govt Degree College, Bemina as part of its public outreach programme.
Dr. Arun Choudhary, Assistant Commandant (MO) of 10 Bn SSB examined and treated 44 people (30 Male, 07 Female & 07 Children) and distributed free medicines to the local people of the nearby area.
During the programme, awareness was spread about how to free the country from drug addicts. Guidelines were also issued for the maintenance of hygiene and sanitation.
Commandant, 10 Battalion SSB Rohitashwa said such programmes would continue to be in the future, “Such events create a good image of the force and develop a sense of security among the local people and SSB”, he said, adding that the SSB has always been doing its best for the welfare of the local people in the area.
