A 20 year old worker of Mega Engineering Infrastructure Limited (MEIL) has died due to cardiac arrest inside Zojila Tunnel near Baltal area of Sonamarg in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday early morning.
Sources told Rising Kashmir that one labour working with Zojila Tunnel who has been identified as Haroon Ahmad Bhat S/O Ab Hamid Bhat, a resident of Basan of Ramban district complained of chest pain inside Zojila Tunnel located in Baltal and subsequently he was shifted to PHC Sonamarg for treatment.
However, doctors, after examining declared him brought dead, they said.
The body of the deceased will be handed over to his family members for last rites after the completion of medico-legal formalities.
