“During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on various related issues, including the allocation of accommodation, transportation, and other logistical support required for the CAPF personnel,” he said.
During the meeting, ADGP Jammu, Jain urged all the officers to remain vigilant, proactive in addressing any challenges that may arise during the induction and deployment of the CAPF units.
“During the meeting a comprehensive action plan was laid out for the timely induction and mobilization of CAPF units, with clear responsibilities assigned to the respective officers,” he said.
The meeting was attended by senior officers from CAPF which include; IG CRPF, IG BSF, DIG SSB, DIG CISF, CO of CRPF and other representatives of various agencies.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Police in Pulwama on Friday welcomed CAPF companies arriving in the district for election duties as part of the upcoming General Elections to the Legislative Assembly (GELA)-2024.

In a heartfelt gesture, the officers of Police District Pulwama greeted the incoming troops with enthusiasm and respect.
“The Adhoc Commandant and Company Commanders were presented with bouquets as tokens of goodwill and camaraderie, symbolizing the strong partnership between the Police and CAPF in maintaining law and order during the elections,” he said.
