Srinagar, Apr 30: In a heartfelt display of appreciation and camaraderie, the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) bid farewell to two of its long-serving officials, Rakesh Raina, the liaison officer, and Mohd Lateef Bhat, computer operator, as they concluded their distinguished careers in government service.
Amidst a gathering of colleagues and superiors, including Director Bakshi Hamayun Javed and General Manager Qazi Aftab, accolades poured in for Raina and Bhat. Their commendable professionalism and compassionate demeanor were lauded, underscoring their significant contributions to SKICC’s operations over the years.
Manager of Operations, Shah Shahnawaz, highlighted the duo’s exceptional interpersonal skills, hailing them as true gentlemen of the organization.
The farewell ceremony culminated with a touching gesture of respect as Raina and Bhat were honored with traditional Kashmiri shawls and garlands. Colleagues escorted them home in a convoy of cars, symbolizing the profound gratitude and warm regard they hold for their departing colleagues.
