Vyasa Purnima : ‘Swami Jeevan Sahib Biradari Religious Trust’ hails admin, locals for support

Pulwama, July 12: Swami Jeevan Sahib Biradari Religious Trust has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the district administration and local residents for their invaluable support in facilitating the observance of Vyasa Purnima at Jeevan Sahib village in Pulwama after a long gap of 35 years.
The auspicious occasion saw the participation of over 200 devotees who gathered to offer prayers and receive sanctified Prasad. The celebration marked a poignant moment for the exiled Pandit community, enabling them to reconnect with their ancestral roots and revive cherished religious traditions.
A particularly heartening aspect of the event was the enthusiastic involvement of the local Muslim community, who extended warm hospitality and actively supported logistical arrangements for the visiting devotees. Esteemed elders and villagers welcomed their Pandit brethren with open arms, presenting a shining example of communal harmony and mutual respect.
The program, which included a havan, guru-puja, and Prasad distribution at the revered samadhi (memorial site) of Swami Jeevan Sahib Ji, was widely appreciated. Participants collectively voiced the need for further development of this sacred site and called for such spiritual congregations to become a regular feature in the future.
