Udhampur, Dec 09: Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on Saturday said the “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” (VBSY) carries Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s welfare schemes to every doorstep, reaching out to the remotest Panchayat and village, and the last man in the queue without any discrimination.
Interacting with the beneficiaries of various schemes under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Dr Jitendra reiterated that it is the first time in the history of independent India that the development has reached the remotest corners of the country that too without discrimination of caste, religion, creed or sex. This Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is PM Modi’s guarantee that every scheme must reach 100 percent saturation so that no one is left out in the country, he added.
The minister said that the schemes like permanent houses, tapped water connection, toilets, free treatment, free ration, gas connection, electricity connection, bank account being opened, benefits under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, PM Fasal Bima Yojna, PM Swanidhi Yojana, and PM Swamitva property cards among others.
During the interaction with the beneficiaries, the Prime Minister said that more than 1.25 crore people have connected with the ‘Modi ki Guarantee’ vehicle in a short time. Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra focuses on saturating government benefits, making sure they reach citizens across India, the PM added.
Dr Jitendra said the VBSY is one of the pillars of making India a developed country in 2047 when India will be celebrating the centenary of its freedom.
Earlier during the programme, Dr Singh distributed bicycles among girls under Khleo India and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. He also distributed Kisan Credit Cards and vehicles under Mumkin schemes.
