The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) the nationwide campaign to spread awareness about the welfare Schemes and initiatives of the Government of India, reached, Maratgam, Monbal, Nowgam A and Nowgam B Panchayats of Mawar Qalamabad block of Kupwara district, today.
The focus of the Yatra was to reach out to the people, create awareness about the welfare schemes aimed at sanitation facilities, essential financial services, access to LPG cylinders, housing for the poor, food security, proper nutrition, reliable healthcare, clean drinking water, etc.
The VBSY witnessed overwhelming response from the people in the border district Kupwara. Today the VB Vans were received in grand welcome ceremonies organised at the venues by officers and officials from various departments.
