Budgam, Jan 10: District Budgam has bagged 2nd position in the work completion at Divisional Level under UT Capex CD & Panchayat Works during the current FY 2022-23.
As per an official communiqué, the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Budgam informed that the Department of Rural Development Budgam took up CD & PYT works taking into consideration the community benefit at large. The work completion rate and expenditure have been achieved up to 74 percent till ending December 2022. A series of review meetings to gauge performance were conducted between BDOs and Engineering Wing to expedite and pace up work completion, the officer said.
“This is an accomplishment of the department wherein 96 works were taken up and 65 were completed with an expenditure of Rs. 269.34 lakh as of 31-12-2022 consisting of 29 passenger sheds, 38 roads, 5 parks and 27 lanes drains/R/walls,” the ACD said.
