Srinagar, May 07: Department of Students Welfare organized 3-day Soft Skills Training Programme for students on the theme “Shaping Success: Empowering through Soft Skills & Personality Development from 07 May – 09 May 2024 at SMSK, Students facilitation centre Shalimar Campus in association with the Art of Living.
This innovative initiative aims to equip students with essential skills necessary for personal and professional success in today’s competitive world.
The programme spanning over 3 – days, will cover a wide range of Soft Skills, including stress management, time management, communication skills, and leadership development. Programme was attended by Dean Students Welfare Prof. Rafiq A. Shahardar, Dean Faculty of Horticulture, Prof. S.A. Wani, Prof. Farooq Lone, Prof. Shaheen Gul and Students Welfare Officer Dr. Seemi Lohani. And Students of Faculty of Horticulture and College of Agriculture Engineering.
Speaking on the occasion Prof. Rafiq Shahardar said that through interactive training programme participants will get the opportunities to enhance their abilities and unleash their full potential.
Prof. S.A. Wani, Dean Faculty of Horticulture appreciated the organizers and said that our goal is to provide students with practical tools and techniques that will not only enrich their academic journey but also prepare them for challenges of full time.
Resource person of the training programme was Ms. Vandana Daftari, Regional Director, The “Art of Living. She will cover Breathing Techniques, Coping with Emotions & Stress, Health & Nutritions, Interpersonal Relations etc.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Training Co-ordinator Dr. Seemi Lohani at the end of the inaugural session. Student participant showed extreme enthusiasm and applauded organisers for this Training Programme.
