Budgam, April 02: The tourist influx at the famous destination Doodhpathri in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district showed a spurt on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Riyaz Ahmad Beigh, the Chief Executive Officer of the Doodhpathri Development Authority, informed Rising Kashmir that there has been a notable rise in visitor numbers at Doodhpathri. “Additionally, local visitors from various parts of the Kashmir Valley have also increased their presence at Doodhpathri during this Eid-ul-Fitr,” he said.
He noted that with the arrival of the spring season in the Kashmir Valley, tourists exploring the region are also making their way to Doodhpathri. Many visitors to the Tulip Garden are also choosing to experience this popular tourist spot. “The local community benefits significantly, as many individuals rely on this tourist destination for their livelihoods, either directly or indirectly,” the CEO added.
