Heeraben Modi, the mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, passed away on 30th December 2022. Known for her simplicity and strength, Heeraben lived a life rooted in traditional values and selflessness. On 30th December 2024, it marks the second death anniversary of Heeraben Modi. Shri Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of Bharat, draws immense inspiration from his mother. She displayed simplicity, resilience, and a very deep-rooted value system throughout her life. Born to a humble family, she met life’s hardships with considerable grace and grit, the making of a very strong character in her son. In fact, her journey stands testimony to the strength of the Indian woman, who is the backbone of her family.
Heeraben was very famous for her simplicity. Even with her son becoming known all over the world, she was still attached to those modest roots. A life without material desires brought forth the ideal of perfect contentment. Both simple homesteads and even simpler living reflected the core values of Indian society because values are more valuable than wealth.
She was also synonymous with selflessness and devoted her life for her family. Heeraben’s mantra was what her children absorbed towards growing up with moral values and inculcating aspects of integrity, hard work, and empathy.
