Ganderbal, Aug 27: Tasmeen Adil Kapra, a District Development Council (DDC) member from Kangan, has officially joined the National Conference (NC) party. The announcement was made at Baba Nagri Wangat Kangan, where she was welcomed by Mian Altaf Ahmad, the Member of Parliament (MP) from Anantnag Rajouri.
Tasmeen Kapra expressed her satisfaction with the decision, stating, “I am very happy today as I have formally joined the National Conference in the presence of Mian Altaf Ahmad at his residence in Baba Nagri Wangat Kangan.” She confirmed her commitment to serving the people of Kangan under the NC banner, emphasizing that the party’s platform would enhance her ability to address the needs of the poor and marginalized in her constituency.
Mian Altaf Ahmad welcomed Tasmeen Adil Kapra to the National Conference, highlighting that her inclusion would further strengthen the party. “Her dedication to addressing the basic problems of the people in Kangan has been commendable, and her presence in the National Conference will undoubtedly add value to our mission,” he said.
Tasmeen Adil Kapra has been known for her proactive approach as a DDC member, often engaging in door-to-door visits to understand and resolve the issues faced by the residents of Kangan.
