Budgam, Feb 14: Students from different areas, along with the Subdivision Administration of Beerwah and social activist Muzamil Mehmood organized a rally in Main town Beerwah in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district regarding online scams and cyber-crimes.
The rally commenced at the bus stand in Beerwah and concluded near the Beerwah Tehsil Office. Hundreds of the students from various parts of the Budgam district actively participated in this rally
The students held placards with the message “Protect Yourself Online” as they marched. The primary objective of the rally was to raise awareness among the public about online scams and frauds. Tehsildar Beerwah, Aliya Tabasum, and Station House Officer Beerwah, Mudasir Naseer, also took part in the rally.
The rally was organized by social activist Muzamil Mehmood in collaboration with Genius Classes Beerwah, initiated by Tariq Bhat, President of the Youth Civil Society Beerwah.
During the rally, Tehsildar Beerwah and Station House Officer Beerwah visited various locations to educate people about online scams.
Muzamil Mehmood, the social activist, emphasized the importance of spreading awareness about online scams and urged everyone to stay informed through different channels on how to protect themselves and others from falling victim to these scams.
