Budgam, Mar 29: The Government of India has recently placed emphasis on the Civic Action Programme, a public outreach program aimed at benefiting the citizens of the country. As part of this initiative, the Sashastra Seema Bal 10 Battalion, Batmaloo, conducted a Veterinary Camp for the animals of residents of Doodhpathri in Khan Sahib area of Budgam on Wednesday.
The camp was a huge success, and a team of SSB and civil veterinary doctors examined and treated numerous animals, distributing free medicines to the animals. The event was well-attended by the local people, who took full advantage of the veterinary services provided.
Commandant of the 10 Battalion SSB, Sh. Rohitashwa, expressed his delight at the success of the program and assured that such initiatives will continue to be organized in the future. He also highlighted the positive impact such events have on the local communities and the force, as they help create a good image of the force and develop a sense of security among the people.
