SSB 10 Battalion, Batmaloo, Srinagar installs copper plaque at GBHSchool Kamal Kote, Uri

Srinagar, Dec 05: In an appreciable gesture Sashastra Seema Bal 10 Battalion, Batmaloo, Srinagar (J&K) installed a copper plaque at Govt Boys High School Kamal Kote, Uri, District Baramulla (J&K) remembering the martyr Riyaz Ahmad GojarKhatana who lost his life in a shelling from across the border in the year 2019. 
On this occasion various programmes were organised, school bags with embossed name of the martyr, reading material, geometry boxes were also distributed to the students of the school. A medical Civic camp was also organised in which medical officer Dr Firdosh Jamil, Deputy Commandant (MO), 10 Bn SSB did medical checkup and treated many patients where reach of medical care is very limited.  During medical camp, medicines were also distributed to the needy patients. Speaking on the occasion, Commandant, 10 Bn SSB, Rohitashwa said that the Martyr was a very brave soldier and the school, school teachers, staffs and students are proud on the act of his student. He is in our mind and action. 
He was our proud colleague. To mark the occasion a massive plantation drive was also done by the villagers and a lecture on TB free India was delivered by the doctor. The area of Uri in district Baramulla (J&K) which is close to LOC is keep on reverberating with patriotic songs. In the programme family members, villagers, officials in huge number participated and lauded the touching gesture of Sashastra Seema Bal.
