Srinagar, Apr 27: Srinagar Chapter of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India in collaboration with Abdul Ahad Azad Memorial degree College Bemina is organising Students Convention on 29th April 24 at 11:00 am to felicitate meritorious students who have passed different courses of CMA. The venue is Auditorium of AAA Memorial Govt Degree College, Bemina.
Prof. Dr Yasmeen Ashai (Director of Colleges) will be the Chief Guest.
CMA Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak (Vice President), CMA MK Anand (Chairman professional development Committee) and CMA SN Mittal (Chairman –NIRC) of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India are attending from Institute side as Guests of Honour.
The Institute of Cost Accountants of India is a statutory body established under Act of Parliament and has about 100 Chapters and 90 thousand members throughout India and abroad.
The Institute of Cost Accountants of India is having MOU with the Higher Education Department of Government of J&K for conducting different Skill Development Courses like GST in commerce through Bemina Degree College.
In the function the 6 students including 5 girls who have passed the intermediate will be felicitated.

Also, Srinagar Chapter is announcing CMA SUPER 50 scheme under which 50 meritorious students (12th pass and 12th appearing) will be selected through written test followed by an interview. The selected students will be provided free admission, coaching classes, guidance and mentorship. CMA SUPER 50 scheme is to provide impetus to CMA profession in Kashmir where the impact of the same so far has been minimal.
