The event was conducted at the KVK-Anantnag campus, bringing together over 100 participants, including farmers, orchardists, entrepreneurs, students, and other stakeholders from the region.
In his address, Dr. Ishtiyaq A. He highlighted the increasing adoption of advanced production practices, while stressing the importance of sustainable approaches to ensure long-term growth in the sector.
Dr. Khan also delivered a detailed lecture on ‘Scientific Orchard Sanitation,’ offering valuable insights into best practices for maintaining healthy orchards and preventing pest-related issues.
