Srinagar, Feb 03: SKIMS Soura today accorded warm send off to Additional Director SKIMS, Dr. Firdous Ahmad Giri after rendering dedicated services in the institution.
Director SKIMS Prof. M Ashraf Ganie along with Dean Medical Faculty, Additional Director SKIMS , Director Finance SKIMS & other officers accorded warm send off to the Dr. Giri and welcomed Zahoor Ahmad Mir who has been posted in SKIMS as Additional Director.
The new incumbent present on the occasion and other officers shared their experiences of association with the outgoing officer. They highlighted the contributions made by Dr Giri and appreciated his role played during his stint at the institution.
His administrative skill, his concern for patient care and the image of the institution as a service provider bore a special mention.
Director SKIMS & EOSG Prof. M. Ashraf Ganie in his remarks acknowledged his meritorious services for improving standards of research and academics and immense contribution he made in improving overall functioning of the institution.
Dr Giri appreciated the leadership of Director SKIMS Prof. M. Ashraf Ganie and said he is shaping the SKIMS in a new direction through his inclusive approach, administrative will, passionate & sincere efforts at every level.
