Srinagar, July 11: The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Kishtwar Police tightened noose over the terrorists who are operating from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) and conducted raids at four locations in the district on Tuesday in their houses.
SSP Kishtwar Khalil Poswal said that the raids were carried out after obtaining house search warrants from the NIA court Jammu in a case registered under the UAPA Act at Chatroo police station.
He warned that anyone involved in terrorism or supporting terrorists would face strict legal action.
The four terrorists whose houses were searched are JamaL Din Naik alias Mudasir, son of Ghulam Qadir Bhat of Sewa Chatroo, Gulzar Ahmed alias Javid, son of Abdul Gaffar Malik of Rather Mohalla Kuchhal, Shabir Ahmed, son of Gaffar Baig of Baig Pura Singpura and Gulabu, son of Hashim Gujjar of Rahalthal Mughalmaidan. All of them are currently operating from PoK, Poswal said.
He added that the evidence collected during the searches would be investigated to establish the involvement of the accused in anti-national activities and terrorism.
