Katra, May 17: The Skill and Simulation Lab of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence (SMVDIME) – Medical College of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, inaugurated by Anshul Garg, Chief Executive Officer, SMVDSB in the first week of April-2025 as per the directions of Chairman, SMVDSB Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Saturday launched its training programmes, underscoring the institution’s commitment to delivering industry-relevant skills and education.
The training sessions conducted from 10 am to 4 pm, focused on Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid. Participants included nursing, medical and paramedical staff from Community Health Centre (CHC), Katra as well as employees of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. These sessions aimed to equip participants with life-saving skills and knowledge, enhancing their ability to respond to medical emergencies.
