Jammu, Apr 02: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) Vice Chairman and Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat candidate, G M Saroori on Tuesday reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to amplifying the people’s voices in Parliament and tirelessly working towards the upliftment and progress of the region.
According to a party statement, Saroori received a heartfelt welcome during his recent visit to Batote, where he was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by dedicated party workers and supporters.
In his address, Saroori called for unity among the community to foster regional development and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in achieving common goals and aspirations. He highlighted DPAP’s significant role in defending people’s rights, particularly its staunch opposition to the land order and successful prevention of bulldozers. Saroori lauded DPAP Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad’s relentless efforts in parliament, where he vehemently opposed the revocation of Article 370, effectively representing the sentiments of the people.
Praising Azad as the lone voice advocating for public issues in parliament, Saroori underscored DPAP’s steadfast commitment to prioritizing the welfare of the people. He reiterated DPAP’s core mission of promoting development initiatives and advocating for peace in the region, emphasizing that the party’s agenda is solely focused on development and societal harmony.
Meanwhile, Provincial President Jugal Kishore Sharma urged the public to reject divisive forces that seek to create rifts based on religion and caste. Sharma emphasized the importance of electing representatives to parliament who prioritize raising public issues and working for the welfare of the people. He expressed confidence in G.M. Saroori’s ability to effectively represent the public and address their concerns in parliament.
Chief Spokesperson Salman Nizami highlighted Saroori’s track record and commitment to serving the people with justice and dedication. He reiterated DPAP’s stance on issue-based politics, emphasizing the need for representatives who prioritize public welfare, unity, and harmony over divisive agendas.
The event was attended by a host of dignitaries and party members, including Provincial President Jugal Kishore Sharma, Chief Spokesperson Salman Nizami, and other prominent leaders from the region, who extended their support to G.M. Saroori’s candidature. The overwhelming presence of party workers and supporters underscored the strong grassroots support for DPAP and its vision for a prosperous and harmonious region.
