Jammu, Jan 18: J&K Police Public School Miran Sahib is proud to announce that Sahildeep Singh, a talented 9th-grade student-athlete, has been officially recognised as an Athlete (Basketball discipline) by the Sports Authority of India KITD division.
This recognition comes after his outstanding performance at the 68th National School Games held in Chhattisgarh, where he represented Jammu and Kashmir with remarkable skill and determination.
Sahildeep’s hard work and perseverance have earned him this prestigious acknowledgment, which highlights his exceptional athletic abilities and dedication to his sport. Competing among the best young talents in the region, he demonstrated his prowess on the court and proved himself as one of Jammu and Kashmir’s top athletes.

Rajeev Sharma, the Principal of J&K Police Public School Miran Sahib, expressed immense pride in Sahildeep’s achievement, stating, “He has been an integral part of our athletics program, consistently showcasing his passion for sports and a strong work ethic. His journey to this recognition has been marked by countless hours of training, participation in various competitions, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.” He also extended gratitude to the PHQ-J&K, Management Committee, J&K PPSs/PWWA, and the Administrative Officer (DIG IRP Range, Jammu) for their continuous support.

Sahildeep is not only known for his athletic skills but also for his leadership qualities and sportsmanship. He has become a role model for his peers, motivating them to balance academic responsibilities with their athletic aspirations.

The school community, including coaches, teachers, and fellow students, congratulated Sahildeep on this remarkable accomplishment. As he sets his sights on future competitions, he is determined to represent his school and Jammu and Kashmir at larger platforms, including national-level events. With his ambition and drive, Sahildeep’s future in athletics looks bright.
