Srinagar, June 26: Under the resonant theme “Patience is the Path to Peace,” the cultural and spiritual event Sada-e-Hussain (AS) unfolded at Tagore Hall Friday, stirring hearts and minds with a powerful message of unity, tolerance, and faith. Organised by AR Studio in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, the event drew students, educators, cultural figures, and spiritual artists from across the Valley.
A statement issued here said that the gathering was marked by soulful performances of Noha, Manqabat, and Naat Shareef by some of Kashmir’s most respected reciters and groups, including Manaabat Khan, Neat Khan, and members of Anjuman Hussaini from Bagwanpora, Zaildar Mohalla, and Lashkari Mohalla. Their renditions brought alive the spirit of remembrance and reflection, deeply moving the audience. The event was skilfully anchored by Janab Arshad Sauleh, whose eloquence and warmth kept the programme flowing with grace. Among the distinguished guests were MLA Zadibal Tanveer Sadiq, spokesperson of the National Conference, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Aga Syed Arshad Mosvi as the Special Guest. Other honoured attendees included Engineer Aijaz Hussain, former Director Humayun Qaisar and renowned poet Ashraf Adil. In his address, Mr Arshid Hussain, Chair of AR Studio, emphasised the deeper purpose behind the event: “We organise such programmes for the sake of humanity. Our slogan—‘patience is the path to peace’—carries a deep message in today’s times. Through such events, we aim to encourage tolerance, peace, and cultural awareness, especially among the youth.”
