Udhampur, Nov 18: Two-day training programme on “Karmayogi Police – custodians of society” commenced in the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy on Friday.
Mission Karmayogi is the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building which aims to create a competent civil service rooted in Indian ethos, with a shared understanding of India’s priorities, working in harmonisation for effective and efficient public service delivery. The idea behind the scheme is to bring about a change in attitude and skill set of government employees.
This is the 10th such course held in the Academy. The training programme was inaugurated and coordinated by Master trainer Suraj Singh, DySP, Assistant Director (Trg/R&D) SKPA. Twenty-eight officers and officials of J&K Police are to be trained in tenth module as per the workbook provided by the Capacity Building Commission.
“This course will go a long way in shaping the career of the participants in the perspective of positive attitude and to inculcate ‘Seva Bhav’ in dealing with general public,” Master trainer Suraj Singh said.
