Udhampur, Sept 27: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for Udhampur East, R.S. Pathania on Friday called for rejecting the INDIA alliance and those who wish to “drag us back” into an era of instability.
“Jammu & Kashmir stands at a pivotal moment. Together, we can secure a prosperous and peaceful future for our state,” he said while addressing a public gathering here.
In his address, Pathania said, “The people of Jammu & Kashmir must reject the INDIA alliance and its pseudo-political affiliates in the ongoing assembly elections. The alliance’s formation fundamentally contradicts the spirit of nationalism and development essential for the region’s progress.”
He added, “The INDIA alliance’s intentions are to divert focus from the core principles of Vikas, Vishwas, and Virasat—principles that have been driving the state toward a brighter future. Their aim is not to build, but to break. They seek to create division where there is unity and undermine the progress we have fought so hard to achieve.”
The BJP leader articulated his vision for a constituency that exemplifies peace, unity and development—values he believes are essential for progress not just locally but throughout the nation. “I am committed to building a constituency that serves as a model of harmony and advancement,” he said. “Our guiding principles will be rooted in Rashtravad and Vikas, ensuring that every initiative uplifts our community and fosters inclusivity.”
Pathania said he is committed to addressing the concerns of every citizen: “I will work tirelessly to ensure that no one is left behind. Together, we can create a prosperous environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive,” he said.
