Srinagar, Aug 29: A group of gazetted police officers, who were recently placed in Non-Functional Grade, called on Director General of Police (DGP) J&K Dilbag Singh at Police Headquarters here. They expressed their gratitude to the UT government and PHQ.
Speaking on the occasion, the DGP congratulated the officers and wished them luck for the future. He hoped that they would work with more zeal and zest. DGP once again expressed thanks and gratitude to Lt Governor J&K Manoj Sinha who has been taking a personal interest in solving the issues of J&K Police.
The visiting officers also presented a memento to DGP J&K as a token of gratitude.
“As was reported that the Home Department recently sanctioned the placement of 38 JKPS officers of General Executive Cadre in the Non-Functional Selection Grade-I Level 13. Similarly, 51 JKPS officers of the General Executive Cadre were placed in the Non-Functional Selection Grade-II Level 12 while 02 JKPS officers were placed in the Time Scale (Non-Functional) Level 11 in the Pay Matrix,” a police spokesperson said in a statement issued here.
