Reasi, Mar 23: With the aim to provide platform to the youth of district Reasi and to engage them in sports activities District Police Reasi organised Football tournament at Katra Stadium from Mar 15 to Thursday under Civic Action Programme of Jammu and Kashmir police.
The aim of the programme was to create awareness among the general public to stay away from drugs and to curb the menace of drug abuse and build successful careers in future.
Six football Clubs from Jammu zone (Param FC, Sainik FC, Katra FC, Udhampur City FC, Pegasus FC & Reasi FC) participated in the event and played 5 league matches on knock out basis at Katra Stadium. In the final match Param FC clinched the Champion trophy whereas Sainik FC stood runner up in the event. Rishi of Param FC is declared as Man of the Match in final event.
Chief Guest PO ICDS Renu Kumari-JKAS accompanied by SSP Katra Amit Basin- JKPS distributed the prizes among the Winner, Runner Up, Technical Officials and Officials with Trophies, Momentos and cash prizes.
