JAMMU, June 25:The Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, is scheduled to arrive in Jammu tomorrow morning to address a ‘Security Conclave’ and hold a meeting with the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory BJP leaders, in order to discuss the prevailing political scenario. This was stated today by the J&K UT BJP President, Ravinder Raina, during a media interaction.
The ‘Security Conclave,’ set to take place at the General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, will be attended by approximately 1,500 special invitees. Among the invitees are defence experts, retired Army officers, think tanks, advocates, journalists, and scholars. The event, slated to begin at 10:30 am tomorrow, will feature an address by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
Following the ‘Security Conclave,’ Rajnath Singh will proceed to the BJP headquarters located in Trikuta Nagar. There, he will chair a meeting with senior party leaders to review the current political situation in the J&K UT, as informed by Ravinder Raina.
The ‘Security Conclave’ is part of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s ongoing program to highlight the nine-year achievements of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government.
Raina mentioned that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will provide an overview of the measures undertaken by the Modi-led government to strengthen the country’s defence mechanism since assuming power in 2014.
During the gathering, Rajnath Singh is expected to discuss various security-related issues and important matters with the participants. Furthermore, he will emphasize India’s firm stance on defence matters and the safety of citizens residing along the borders.
The ‘Security Conclave’ aims to provide a platform for prominent individuals from diverse backgrounds to gain insights into the nation’s security initiatives. With the participation of defence experts, retired Army officers, think tanks, advocates, journalists, and scholars, the event promises to foster discussions on internal and external security concerns.
The visit of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to Jammu holds significant importance in addressing the prevailing political landscape and strengthening the defence capabilities of the nation.
