PWWA organizes Healthy Baby Competition

Jammu, Feb 11: As a part of the 33rd Police Public Mela, a Healthy Baby Competition was organized by J&K Police Wives Welfare Association (PWWA) at SDRF 2nd Bn. Gulshan Ground, Jammu here on Saturday.
Dr Archana Choudhary, Mrs. Suma Singh, Dr Jayashree Tuti and other PWWA members were present on this occasion. Atul Sharma, Commandant UTDRF 2nd Bn. organized the event. Seventy-five babies accompanied by their parents participated in two categories (Junior Group: 0 to 03 years) and (Senior Group: 03 to 05 years) respectively in the Competition.
A team of doctors, Dr. Asha Manhas, Dr. Sadaf Maheen, Dr Anil Salathia and paramedic staff under the overall supervision of Dr Meenakshi Kotwal, Medical Superintendent, Police Hospital Jammu, conducted the examination of the health parameters of the participating babies. This competition was held for the babies of Police Pariwar from the rank of SPOs/Followers to Head Constables.
In the junior group, 29 babies participated. Kavya Sambyal D/o Kuldeep Raj, Mohammad Azan S/o Anjreez Ahmad Bhat and Ranvir S/o Ankush Kumar bagged first, second and third prizes respectively in this group. Aahan Sharma S/o Anpit Sharma, Diva Pathan D/o Yasir Khan and Divyanshi Pandita D/o Pawan Kumar Pandita got consolation prizes.
In the senior group, 46 babies participated. Chitranshi Bhatt D/o Rakesh Bhatt, Sufian Mahfooz S/o Mahfooz Khan and Lokesh Singh S/o Hakeekat Raj were adjudged first, second and third respectively in this group. Drishti Rajput D/o Mohinder Singh, Manaf Fatima D/o Mohammad Shabir and Aliza Yousaf D/o Kamran Yousaf got consolation prizes.
The prizes will be distributed in the Police Public Mela being held on February 19, 2023 (Sunday). Dr Rubinder Kaur, Chairperson, J&K PWWA complimented PWWA members, Medical Superintendent Police Hospital Jammu, AIG(Welfare) PHQ and Commandant UTDRF 2nd Bn for meticulous arrangements and successful conduct of the competition.
