Srinagar, July 16: The 10th District Pulwama Pencak Silat Championship 2025-26 concluded at Hajahat Public Higher Secondary School, Awantipora with great fervour on Wednesday. The two-day event was organised by the District Pulwama Pencak Silat Association and witnessed participation from over 375 Boys and Girls across all age groups.According to a statement issued here, Bashir Ahmad Bhat (Manager, Sports Stadium Pulwama, J&K Sports Council) was the Chief Guest, while Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat (Principal, Hajahat Public School) was the Guest of Honour. Distinguished guests included Tariq Ahmad Zargar (Secretary, Indian Pencak Silat Federation), Nasir Ahmad Digoo (President, J&K Pencak Silat Association), Coach Ravees Ahmad (Police Central Team), and Rumaisa Bhat (Secretary General, District Pulwama Pencak Silat Association). The organising committee congratulated all medal winners, runners-up, coaches and participants for their commendable performance and sportsmanship.
