Srinagar, Feb 22: Press Club of Kashmir Saturday held a condolence meeting to honour the memory of Naseer Ahmad, a former Bureau Chief for ZEE News TV, who passed away this morning.
The executive body convened at the club premises to pray for the departed soul and expressed their heartfelt condolences to the near and dear ones of the deceased.
The executive members recounted the contributions of the late Naseer Ahmad, especially during the peak of militancy when he bravely reported on live encounters, putting his life on the line of fire.
During the meeting, the Press Club conveyed its solidarity with the family of the deceased. The gathering was conducted under the patronage of President Mohammad Saleem Pandit. “May Allah grant strength to the family of the deceased to bear this profound loss.”
