PDP MLA from Tral JB Rafiq Ah Naik on Friday advocated that there should be rationalization of open merit and calls for a new reservation policy that aligns with population demographics while speaking on motion of thanks to LG’s address.
He said recently during the exam results, candidates from open merit had less representation than aspirants from reserved ones.
