PDP, Apni Party leaders pay condolence visit to Mirwaiz, Masoodi

Srinagar, Mar 01: Senior leaders of the Apni Party visited on Saturday paid a condolence visit to the family of Dr Ghulam Sibtain Masoodi, who passed away recently. The deceased was the father-in-law of Mirwaiz Moulvi Mohammad Umar Farooq and the brother of MLA Pampore, Justice (Retd) Hasnain Masoodi.
According to a press release issued here, Apni Party General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir led a delegation of prominent party leaders to visit the Masoodi family and extend their condolences on the demise of Ghulam Sibtain Masoodi. The leaders met Mirwaiz and Masoodi and expressed their sympathy over their profound loss.”
While meeting the bereaved family members, they said that the Apni Party stands in solidarity with the bereaved family during this time of grief. On this occasion, Apni Party leaders prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and for patience and strength for the bereaved family to bear this immense loss.
The prominent leaders who were part of this delegation included the party’s Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Chief Spokesperson and District President Budgam Muntazir Mohiuddin, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, Spokesperson and former MLA Yawar Dilawar Mir, Constituency Incharge Pampore Mohammad Altaf Mir, Mohammad Athar, and others.
Meanwhile, a high-level delegation of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) led by General Secretary Mohammad Khurshid Alam visited the Masoodi residence in West End Colony, Hyderpora, Srinagar, to offer condolences to Mirwaiz Molvi Mohammad Umar Farooq.
On behalf of the party and its president Mehbooba Mufti, Alam extended solidarity to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul. “In this hour of grief, we stand with the family and pray that Almighty Allah grants Sibtain Masoodi Sahib a place in Jannat and gives strength to his loved ones,” he said.
The delegation included Abdul Qayyum Bhat, Mohammad Iqbal Tramboo, Abdul Hameed Kohshen, Arif Laigaroo, Mohammad Yaseen Bhat, Manzoor Ahmed Wani, Bashir Ahmed, Dr Ali Mohammad, Mohammad Shafi Kundenger, Ab Wahid Dar, Ali Mohammad Baba, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat and Ishfaq Ahmed.
