Pak intruder shot dead by BSF on IB in Arnia sector

Srinagar, July 31: In a significant breakthrough against cross border infiltration, a Pakistani intruder was shot dead after the Border Security Force (BSF) foiled an infiltration attempt from across the international border in the Arnia sector in Jammu early Monday.
“In the intervening night of July 30 and 31, the vigilant BSF troops observed a suspicious movement across the IB in the Arnia area and an intruder was observed approaching toward the BSF fence,” said a BSF spokesperson.
Earlier on 25th July, a Pakistani narcotics smuggler was shot dead by BSF on the intervening night of July 24 and 25 along the international border in the Ramgarh sector of Samba.
He further said that during the initial search of the area, four packets of suspected narcotics (weighing approximately 4 kilograms) are found along with the body of the Pakistani smuggler.
