Srinagar, Feb 27: Following directives from the administrative department in a review meeting held on January 17, 2025, the Health Department Kashmir has constituted a joint team for site verification of the New Type Primary Health Center (NTPHC) at Hardpanzoo, in Central Kashmir’s Budgam.
The verification team, comprising officials from the Health Department and J&K Housing Board, has been tasked with assessing the work executed by Piece Workers before 2019 under the PMDP, CAPEX, and Languishing Scheme.
The order mandates the team to inspect the site and ensure compliance with project guidelines. Their findings will help ascertain the status of the completed work and address any discrepancies.
The joint team for site verification includes Mohammad Shafi Mir, Statistical Officer, Health Services Kashmir; Mushtaq Ahmad, DMEO; Er. Qazi Amir Aslam, Senior Manager, J&K Housing Board; and Er. Waseem Ahmad Bhat, Assistant Manager, J&K Housing Board.
The Chief Medical Officer of Budgam shall supervise and coordinate the site verification, while Er. Qazi Amir Aslam, Senior Manager J&K Housing Board, shall provide the necessary technical guidance and expertise during the process.
As per the order, the team shall conduct joint verification of the works on-site to determine the quantum of work physically completed for each project.
The team will assess the quantum of work done and take into account the ‘Stage Work’ as was declared or fixed for the project. The non-tendered liability against the said work, as reported by the executive agency, stands at Rs 110.00 lakh. Regarding the reasonability of the rates and the work-done certificate for each of these projects vis-a-vis the scope of work, the J&K Housing Board officers shall furnish the requisite certificates to the directorate. The teams have been directed to submit their reports and recommendations, duly countersigned by the CMO Budgam, to the Director, Health Services Kashmir.
