Srinagar: Amid growing speculation about an early summer break, Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK), G.N. Itoo, on Tuesday clarified that there are currently no plans for early vacations.
Speaking to reporters, Itoo said , “There is no such plan at present. The weather has remained pleasant over the last few days, and we have already adjusted school timings across the Kashmir division.”
He added that the department is closely monitoring the weather conditions and any decision regarding summer vacations will be made only after a thorough review, if and when necessary.
Meanwhile, the Kashmir Valley has experienced intermittent rainfall, leading to a dip in temperatures. This has provided much-needed relief to residents from the recent heat wave.
