Srinagar, Aug 15: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Srinagar today celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at its campus in Ompura, Budgam. Director NIFT Srinagar, Prof.(Dr) Monika Gupta, hoisted the National Flag, marking the occasion in the presence of faculty members, staff, and students.As a mark of solidarity, a two-minute silence was abserved and prayers offered for the victims of the tragic cloudburst in Kishtiwar on August 14, claiming 40 lives.
