Jammu, Apr 25: Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Jammu and Ladakh is set to host Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, an awareness and outreach program, concurrently at two venues: the Conference Hall, DC Office Poonch-Jammu, and the Defense Institute of High Altitude Research (DIHAR), Det Ranbirpura, Leh-Ladakh, on April 29, 2024. The program aims to educate employers and employees about social security provisions, including themes such as “Filing Grievance” on EPFiGMS, digital service education, fraud prevention awareness, and employee rights regarding employers.
PF Commissioner Rizwan Uddin, RPFC-I, RO Jammu and Ladakh, encouraged subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employees’ representatives, and industrial chambers to actively participate in the program. District Nodal Officers Devinder Singh EO/AO and Sandeep Kumar will address the program in Jammu and Leh-Ladakh, respectively.
The program will focus on disseminating information about EPFO schemes such as PF, Pension, and Insurance, addressing stakeholders’ queries and grievances, and soliciting feedback and suggestions. Industries are urged to extend social security benefits to all eligible employees from their first day of joining. Handholding sessions will sensitize employers about PF provisions, including initiatives like e-Nomination and online claim filing.
The program will cover enrollment of members, UAN activation, bank and Aadhaar seeding, e-nominations, e-sign, and filing of ECR. Relevant issues related to EPFO, as desired by officers or stakeholders, will also be discussed. A special Pension help desk will address pension-related issues on the spot.
Since November 2019, EPFO has been providing services and benefits of “Social Security,” including the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995, and enhanced quantum of Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Schemes, 1976, to employees of the Union territory of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. EPFO welcomes valuable suggestions at the Nidhi Aapke Nikat program.
