NC leadership pays tributes to Mian Bashir Larvi

Srinagar, Aug 13: National Conference (NC) president Dr Farooq Abdullah, and party Vice President & Chief Minister Omar Abdullah paid glowing tributes to Baba Ji Mian Bashir Ahmad Larvi Sahib on his 4th death anniversary.Describing Baba Ji as a man of profound knowledge, superior integrity, and unparalleled dynamism, Dr Farooq said, “He was deeply concerned about the socio-political and economic emancipation of our Gujjar brethren. His struggle to bring the deprived and marginalised sections of society into the region’s mainstream remains unparalleled to this day.”In his remembrance message, CM Omar said, “During his lifetime, Baba Ji carried forward the valuable heirloom of family traditions, passed down through generations. On his 4th death anniversary, I pay my earnest tributes to his noble soul and pray to Almighty Allah to grant him an exalted place in Jannah.”“Baba Ji made peace-making his lifelong mission,” Omar added. “His efforts to strengthen the bonds of amity and brotherhood among different sections of society in J&K will be remembered for generations to come.”
