Srinagar, July 29: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq on Monday said sporting talent is abundant in Jammu & Kashmir and that the party is dedicated to eliminating obstacles hindering the advancement of sports in the region.
He said this while flagging off the 13-member team from the Dal Lake interiors, participating in the renowned Nehru Trophy Snake Boat Race to be held in the Punnamanda Lake near Allapuzzha in Kerala. Extolling the team members, Tanvir, according to a party statement said, “Proud to see our talented rowers representing us in this premier event. Talent is abundant in Kashmir. We are just waiting to be nurtured and guided. The region is home to exceptional individuals with remarkable skills and abilities. With the right support and direction, these talents have the potential to shine brightly and make a significant impact on the world. We must recognise and cultivate the potential of these individuals, helping them to reach their full potential and achieve great success. Our party is committed to working in that direction.”
