NC govt committed to transparency, accountability: Mir

Srinagar, Apr 29: National Conference (NC) provincial president, Showkat Ahmad Mir on Tuesday said the government led by Omar Abdullah is dedicated to promoting stability and unity in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Stability and unity are essential components for the successful functioning of any region,” Mir said in a statement issued here.
He added, “One of the key ways in which the government is promoting stability and unity is through effective leadership and governance. A strong and accountable government is essential for providing a sense of security and trust among its citizens. Our government is leading by example and showing a commitment to upholding and ensuring transparency and accountability in its actions.”
The NC leader said the government is working towards building strong institutions that are capable of responding to the needs of the people and promoting the common good.
