NC extends condolences to party leader Syed Tawqeer

Srinagar, Aug 16: National Conference (NC) president, Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President & Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday extended their heartfelt condolences to party leader and Provincial Secretary Syed Tawqeer Ahmad on the sad demise of his father-in-law.Expressing grief over the loss, the duo conveyed solidarity with Tawqeer during this difficult time and prayed for strength and forbearance to the bereaved family. They prayed for peace for the departed soul.Cabinet Minister Sakina Itoo, Provincial President Showkat Mir, legislators Hasnain Masoodi, Choudhary Zaffar Ali, Riyaz Khan, Showkat Hussain Ganaie, Gh Mohiudin Mir, Ahsan Pardesi, Peerzada Faroz, State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, provincial functionaries, and district presidents visited the bereaved residence in Achabal and offered condolences to the family. They offered fateha and prayed for peace for the departed soul.Among others, the party’s General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Addl GS  Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Advisor to CM Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq have also extended sympathies to the bereaved household.
