Srinagar, Apr 21: National Conference (NC) president Dr Farooq Abdullah on Monday approved dissolution of all organisational wings of Youth National Conference including the Province Committee, Zonal Committees, District Committees and Block Committees of YNC Kashmir with immediate effect.
“Following the directives of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Salman Ali Sagar has been appointed as the acting President of YNC Kashmir,” the party said in a statement issued here.
He (Salman Sagar) will collaborate closely with senior Leaders from Kashmir province to provide recommendations for the selection of a new Provincial President for YNC Kashmir, according to the statement.
The senior leaders involved in the consultation process include Mubarak Gul, Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan, Sakina Itoo, Shamim Firdous, Dr Bashir Veeri and Dr Sajad Shafi Uri, the party said.
