NC delegation pays condolence visit to Maulana Rehmatullah

Srinagar, Aug 20: On the directions of National Conference (NC) president, Dr Farooq Abdullah, a party delegation led by the Advisor to Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, visited Darul-Uloom Rahmania Bandipora to offer heartfelt condolences to Maulana Rahmatullah Qasmi, Chief Patron of the institution, on the sad demise of his mother.The delegation included Provincial President Kashmir Adv Showkat Mir, MLA Sumbal-Sonawari Hilal Akbar Lone, MLA Banihal Sajad Shaheen, party leader Nazir Malik and High Court Advocates Zamir Abdullah and Zahir Abdullah, the party said in a statement issued here.The leaders expressed deep sorrow and prayed for peace for the departed soul. They conveyed solidarity with the bereaved family during this moment of grief, recalling the invaluable contributions of Maulana Qasmi to religious education and community upliftment in the region.
