Pahalgam sub-division today witnessed celebration of multiple road safety events under the banner of Road Safety Month, 2024 being organised by Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) Anantnag in collaboration with local administration of Pahalgam Sub Division.
RTO Kashmir, Syed Shanawaz Bukhari, who was Chief Guest on the occasion flagged-off Maxi Cab Rally.
The main function was held at Town Hall Pahalgam where RASTA Initiative was launched by the RTO Kashmir.
Addressing the media, Bukhari lauded the efforts of District Administration’s unique initiative viz a viz Road Side Traffic Assistance (RASTA ) where in the administration will impart the Basic Life Support Training to the Shopkeepers and commercial drivers so that in case of crash the trained person can come to Assistance for the injured persons.
