In accordance with Section 52A of NDPS Act. The District Level Drug Disposal Committee Shopian under the supervision of SSP Shopian, destroyed huge quantity of seized drugs and psychotropic substances at Kashmir Health Care System IGC Lassipora Pulwama.
The contraband substances destroyed were seized in 42 different NDPS cases registered in different Police Stations of District Shopian.
The process was carried with adhering strictly to legal protocols and environmental safety standards. During incineration the contraband substance weighing 06 Quintals, 60 Kgs & 657 grams comprising of Heroine, Brown Sugar, Poppy Straw, Charas Sticks, Charas Powder, Codeine Bottles, Bung Powder and Ganja Powder has been destroyed in presence of Magistrate and “Drug Disposal Committee Shopian” SP Hqrs Shopian, DySP DAR Shopian, DySP CID CIK & DySP ANTF.
