New Delhi, Nov 29: The Centre for Narendra Modi Studies (CNMS – NaMo Kendra) has written a letter to Union Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya M Scindia, to request a commemorative postal stamp to honor the memory of the late Ratan Naval Tata, one of India’s most eminent industrialists and philanthropists.
In the communiqué from Prof. Jasim Mohammad, Chairman, Centre for Narendra Modi Studies, Tata has been described as that visionary leader who transformed the Tata Group into a global conglomerate. Prof. Jasim also asserted that Tata’s relentless pursuit of innovation and sustainability, combined with ethical governance, laid the groundwork for a modern and progressive corporate India.
The Centre further emphasized that the memory of Tata’s values of service, humanity, and dedication towards the nation needs to be remembered and celebrated as an inspiration for generations to come.
“The commemorative postal stamp would be an apt tribute to the legacy of Ratan Tata. Such a postage stamp would not only honor his memory but also serve as a remembrance of his visionary leadership and unflinching commitment to the nation,” said Prof. Jasim Mohammad.
The Centre has put on record its willingness to work with the Ministry of Communications toward this vision. “We stand ready to support this initiative in whatever way so that the memory of Ratan Tata lives in generations to come,” Professor Jasim stated.
The proposal letter has begun to gain a huge response and is expected to resonate with citizens who have the deepest fondness for the contributions of Ratan Naval Tata to India and the world.
