Srinagar, 04 Oct: A local youth was shot and injured during a terrorist attack in the Anantnag district of south Kashmir on Wednesday evening.
The victim, identified as Sahil Bashir Dar, the son of Bashir Ah Dar and a resident of Wanihama area in Anantnag, was the target of the attack. He has been promptly rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
Authorities swiftly cordoned off the affected area as law enforcement agencies launched investigations into the incident.
Kashmir Zone Police shared details of the attack on social media, “#Terrorists fired upon one person, namely Sahil Bashir Dar, son of Bashir Ah Dar, resident of Wanihama in #Anantnag district.
The injured person is being shifted to the hospital for treatment. Area cordoned off. Further details shall follow, the spokesman said.
