Srinagar, January 18: The Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulama J&K and J&K Muslim Personal Law Board convened a critical media briefing today, calling for unity and peace within the Muslim community, stressing the urgent need to reject sectarianism.
During the meeting, Aga Syed Hassan Mousvi stated that anyone found making anti-Shia or anti-Sunni remarks would be blacklisted and face strict consequences. He emphasized that such remarks only serve to weaken the unity .
“The Aga family has always been at the forefront of preserving Islamic brotherhood and fostering communal harmony,” he remarked, highlighting the family’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the unity of the Muslim community.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the commitment to combat sectarianism and promote understanding, underlining that Islam has no room for hatred or division.
